Collection: The Hives

Captured in London during the breakthrough moment of their career in 2001, these portraits of The Hives showcase the band right as Hate to Say I Told You So was storming charts and cementing their place in the garage rock revival.

One session, shot for NME, features the full band at Centre Point — bold, sharp, and unmistakably iconic. Another, for J17 Magazine, focuses on frontman Pelle Almqvist at the V&A Museum, embodying the charismatic energy that made him one of the most electric frontmen of the era.

All images were taken on colour medium format film, preserving the raw style and punch that defined the early 2000s rock aesthetic.

Now available as limited edition prints, each piece is hand-printed from the original negatives, signed, and numbered. Only 50 of each exist, making them rare collector’s items for fans of both the band and iconic music photography.
